MEET THE PEOPLE BEHIND LCA CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS

Naveed is our group managing director. He continues to drive the groups expansion and progression through his vision and strategic business acumen. Naveed has a wealth of advisory experience and the ability to deal with complex financial issues including international taxation, mergers and acquisitions and strategic planning.

Outside his professional commitments, Naveed is a keen sportsman. He plays cricket, five a side football and golf.

Becky joined LCA as a director in 2022 with over 20 years practical experience.
Becky looks after a large portfolio of clients from a wide variety of business sectors. Her clients include sole trades, partnerships, limited companies and charities. Becky specialises in company and charity accounts.

Becky works closely with her clients advising on the most tax efficient trading vehicle for them and providing comfort that they are meeting all their filing and taxation requirements.

Becky also provides support during HMRC enquiries and is always looking for tax savings that may be made by the company, directors or business owners.

When Becky isn’t working she enjoys spending time with her 2 daughters. If there are any spare hours in the day she enjoys a good book and glass of wine.

Scott joined LCA as a director in 2022 with over ten years practice experience. Scott is qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant and Chartered Tax Advisor, specialising in Owner Managed Businesses and Corporation Tax.

Scott looks after a diverse client base, but mainly works with our Limited Companies and offers tax planning and advice, succession and exit planning, prepares business valuations and restructuring and any additional work required by our clients.

In his spare time, Scott enjoys going to the football, or will be found out on the golf course.

Emily joined LCA in 2023 as a client manager and looks after our clients year end accounts, tax returns, VAT returns and payroll.

Emily qualified as a chartered certified accountant in April 2024 and has 7 years practice experience, specialising in agriculture. Emily can help with your tax affairs and any accounting or payroll queries.

In her spare time Emily enjoys walking her dog and spending time with her friends.

Hazel joined LCA in 2017 after a career in Fashion Buying in London.

She retrained at Petroc and gained her AAT Level 3 Qualification,

She mainly concentrates on bookkeeping, analysis and VAT returns for a wide range of clients as well as general office management.

She is familiar with Xero, QuickBooks and Sage Accounts packages.

In her spare time she enjoys walking her dogs, swimming, Pilates and reading.

Originally employed as farm secretary within a large farming enterprise, Charlotte has gained significant knowledge in dealing with estate management and accountancy issues.  She then took on the post of secretary to the Chief Executive of North Devon Meat, a large farmers co-operative.  Since then, Charlotte has been involved in book keeping, as well as preparing and submitting VAT returns for a local farming enterprise using Microsoft Office and Xero.

Charlotte’s hobbies include cycling, tennis, walking and travel.  She is a keen gardener and over the years has enjoyed planting and tending to her plot at home.
